having crammed 400 people into corsica studios for our decadent ball, we return to the fold this month with a very different party for you…
we’re bored of “secret warehouses” in shoreditch and railway arches in london bridge – so for the saturday 29th may bank holiday we’ve decided to go against the tide and throw a good old fashioned “houseparty”.
so- the venue. the “designer’s block” on cremer st (just off the kingsland… road) isn’t a house but a derelict pub, which has been taken over and converted into an incredible live/work space by a group of artists and designers. this space is like no other we’ve been to in london, boasting a dance floor in what was the old bar, an upstairs library with armchairs & sofas, a living room, a big garden – all tied together by innovative oddities and design gems.
given that one of the designers actually lives in the place, we ‘re seriously grateful that he’s agreed to open up his place for us and allow us to be the first promoters to throw a night in this totally unique space.
as usual, the krankbrothers will be playing a quality blend of techno and deep house across a chunky funkion one system. special guest Jonny Needham (from the brilliant night “Fill Your Boots”) will be warming up, with a blend of electro funk, dirty disco and house.
Numbers will be limited for this one, so get there early!
Vodka jelly, cake and hats will be flying round a plenty…
