In what will be a UK premiere, iconic German krautrock group faUSt will perform their classic album IV from start to finish with a string trio live at Union Chapel.

Renowned for their improvised approach to music making, faUSt’s influence is perhaps best encapsulated by their masterpiece IV, recorded in Oxfordshire in 1973.

Arguably their most important work, IV employed drone and noise techniques which were revolutionary at the time of recording, and went on to immeasurably influence the ambient and industrial music landscapes.

With it being the final album before their initial split in the mid 70s, IV represents a band at its creative peak, and one that perfectly embodies the rebellious spirit of the krautrock movement in West Germany.
